08 August 2024: ASEAN Post Joint Issue General Post Office (Pejabat Pos Besar)

The next issue will be another big joint theme issue. Each ASEAN country is expected to issue a single stamp (Laos as usual is expected to issue MS and imperf MS) on a General Post Office. Indonesia chose Medan General Post Office.

This issue will see a single stamp of RM 1.30 featuring the Kuala Lumpur General Post Office. The usual folder is also available at RM 6.00. Blank envelopes are sold at 50 sen each.

Thus far images for the following countries have been made available.

1. Thailand

2. Singapore

3. Indonesia

Apparently Pos Indonesia will sell on 09 August 2024. Their FDCs are ready made thus Medan cancellation will just be add onto the Bandung cancellation.

4. Vietnam

Vietnam will also issue Imperforated Stamps and Specimen Stamps.

5. Myanmar

6. Brunei

7. Cambodia

8. Laos

Stamp 50,000 Kip, Perforated and Imperforated MS – issue cancelled and the purported end October 2024 issue date did not materialise.

9. Philippines
