This FDC was cancelled in Bintulu and is very scarce. I will put the scarcity even higher than the Earth Satellite Station.

This FDC was issued as a worldwide collection on The History and Heritage of the Commonwealth and cancelled in Kuala Lumpur.

This FDC was cancelled in Kuantan. The DYMM Yang Dipertuan Agong is from Pahang. The colour printing on the envelope is also badly aligned.

15 July 1983: Silver Jubilee of the Reign of DYMM the Sultan of Kedah

This FDC was cancelled in Alor Setar.

16 September 1983: Golden Jubilee of the Malaysian Armed Forces

This issue coincided with Malaysia Day. Both FDCs were cancelled in MINDEF (Ministry of Defence).

This FDC was cancelled in Port Dickson where the Army was first formed.

26 October 1983: Hornbills of Malaysia

This FDC was cancelled in Kuching, Sarawak, the Land of the Hornbills (Bumi Kenyalang).

  1. How rare is the 1983 Hari Komanwel fdc by the issue from The history & heritage of the commonwealth? Seems unable to find one in ebay. Thank you.

    1. Hi! It is a private issue and sold in a full set of all Commonwealth participating countries.

      Thus it is hard to come by loose FDC e.g. just Malaysia.

      It is not rare but not commonly seen.
