The new Federal Territory Garden Flowers new issue (or reprint) first made it’s surprising appearance in 2018. In reality it is a new issue as the design and values are “new”. However, since there is no “First Day of Issue”, it is marked as reprint.
The interesting point about this issue is the addition of micro text printing of the denomination on the right of the frame of the flower.
To add to the uniqueness, there was even a recurring error of 10 sen micro text printed in the middle of the 40 sen micro text on the 40 sen stamp. This was seen on 2018/1 and 2019/1.
By the end of October 2018, the following values were released: 20 sen, 30 sen, 40 sen and 50 sen.
The 40 sen stamp’s micro text error was corrected in the 2020/1 reprint first seen sold around end April 2020.
A 30 sen reprint without any markings were first seen at the end of May 2020.
The 20 sen reprint without any markings were seen a few days later at the end of May 2020.
The 50 sen reprint without any markings came out in early June 2020.
40 sen reprint without any markings was seen in mid June 2020.
Note: As Pos Malaysia do not provide release dates, the release dates are the estimated time frame when the stamp was seen on sale. The reprints could have been available as early as a month before the recorded date.
