Upcoming issue on 16 September 2026: Tapestry of Malaysia #empatbelas2026 x APOM

Ai SAY, A POM shell dropped this morning with the upcoming Malaysia Day issue titled Tapestry of Malaysia being revealed and all the associated merchandise made available in APOM.

APOM (A Piece Of Malaysia) is a whimsical fun brand that has collaborated with Pos Malaysia twice before. The first time APOM collaborated with Pos Malaysia was for #empatbelas in 2022 and it was for the FIRST NFT by Pos Malaysia featuring designers from all 14 states with their take on their own states. Since it was Setem Ku the price was hefty but many bought for the NFT novelty… I guess mine is still virtually somewhere in the cloud…I hope.

Here is the launch with the designers coming together: https://myfdc.me/2022/09/09/malaysias-first-14-nft-personalised-stamps-for-malaysia-day-collaboration-with-apom-a-piece-of-malaysia-designers/

The second time was actually for the Bangunan Pejabat Pos Lama where Pos Malaysia had APOM set up the retro Pos Shop with the semi-official cachet and the Setem Ku plus lots of cool merchandise earlier this year: https://myfdc.me/2026/05/22/reopening-of-the-restored-pejabat-pos-besar-lama-old-general-post-office-kuala-lumpur/

So APOM is balik with not apom balik but with #empatbelas2026 featuring their alumni blast from the past 10 years of APOM.

So the Pos Malaysia x APOM came up as Tapestry of Malaysia and this time it is an official stamp issue in a nice sheetlet! Think of it as a Miniature Sheet!

If you want to see a close up of the 14 designs: https://apom.my/collections/empatbelas-2026

The best merchandise from APOM are the postcards as they can be made into Maxicards! Cool! However, expensive at RM 8.00 each!

The Full Folder set retails for RM 35.20 with:

  1. Sheetlet of 14 stamps x 90 sen
  2. First Day Cover
  3. One Postcard
  4. One Mint Sheetlet
  5. Empty Folder

Sales arrangements:

  1. Online order starts at 01 September 2026. If you are near a General Post Office, it is faster to wait until 17 September to buy.
  2. Klang Valley folks have it easy as they can buy the folder set from Pejabat Pos Lama Building (APOM) next to Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad.
  3. Then as businesses resume on 17 September 2026, you can buy from the General Post Offices.

So are you excited?
