30 November 2006: 15th Anniversary of ASEAN – China Dialogue Relations

This FDC was cancelled in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia was the first country where the AESAN – China relations meeting was first held. As such, Kuala Lumpur was given the honour to represent ASEAN to issue the commemorative stamp with China. This is not a joint issue as the design and the date of issue are different.

China issued FDCs one month earlier on 30 October 2006 to commemorate this event. This is not a true joint issue.

This FDC was cancelled with “China”. This type of cover is normally known as cover “A” from the China National Philatelic Corporation. However the FDC was issued earlier on 30 October 2006.

This FDC was cancelled in Beijing and was issued by Beijing Stamp Company. This is normally called cover “B”. It was also cancelled on 30 October 2006.

This cover was cancelled in Nanning, Gaungxi, China on 30 October 2006 and also affixed with the Malaysia stamps cancelled a month later on 30 November 2006.

    1. Hi, currently the international mail has been suspended. Thus there is no way to ship out. For prices, it would be better to try and get your hands on a copy of the International Stamps and Coins Catalogue. Stanley Gibbons is also another good reference but their prices are too high if compared to the actual market in Malaysia.
