The next issue is planned to be released on 18 June 2020. The topic is Iconic Marine Life for the National Definitive. The revision of the postage rates necessitated newer values.
This issue will appeal to the unusual shape stamp collectors and the thematic stamp collectors of Marine, Reptiles, Turtles, Shells, Cetaceans, Sharks and possibly endangered species themes.
The issue will comprise of:
- RM 1.30 stamp: Hawksbill Turtle (Penyu Karah)
- RM 1.40 stamp: Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin (Lumba-lumba Putih)
- RM 1.50 stamp: Whale Shark (Yu Paus)
- RM 1.70 stamp: Small Giant Clam (Kima Besar)
- RM 1.90 stamp: Dugong (Dugong)
- RM 5.00 Miniature Sheet: Hawksbill Turtle (Penyu Karah) in a die cut and spot varnish effects
- 50 sen blank envelopes
- RM 6.00 empty folders
This time the stamps are issued in sheetlets of 10s.
The designer is Mr KY Lim from Reign Associates.
Some of the concordant locations are Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Penyu, Kuala Terengganu, Lahad Datu, Giant Post Offices, Kuching, Lawas, Sibu, Rejang Park, Kudat, Mersing, Kota Tinggi, Lubok Cina and Masjid Tanah. Well UKM if you want to stretch the imagination on the word Kebangsaan – wish it was spelt out.
