This FDC was cancelled in Kuala Lumpur which was the venue of the 51st Annual General Meeting of IATA.
This FDC was cancelled in Lapangan Terbang Subang (Subang Airport). Subang was the main international airport at that time.

The FDC was cancelled in Kuala Lumpur on a private FDC. This is the first time that special stamps are issued in Stamp Booklet format. However Pos Malaysia did not issue any envelopes. Thus the only FDCs available are private FDCs.
