This FDC was cancelled in Kuching. I added this cover for the name “Kuching” (Cat) as the RM 1 stamp is “Wau Kucing” (Cat Kite).

24 November 2005: Malaysia’s 5 Islands and Reefs in the South China Seas

This is the original date of issue. Some FDCs were inadvertently released. Many states sold the stamps and FDCs before realising the date has been postponed to 22 December 2005. This FDC was subsequently autographed by the designer, Mr KY Lim.

02 December 2005: Stamp Week ’05 Malaysia Batik

These FDCs were cancelled in Kuala Lumpur along with the Stamp Week ’05 cachet.

This FDC contains all the daily cancellations from the Stamp Week as well as the Stamp Week 2005 cachet.
