Yes the old General Post Office will be reopened tomorrow (23 May 2026)! To commemorate the event Pos Malaysia will release a cachet with the image of the Old General Post Office.
Purchases of RM 63 (from Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, Old General Post Office or even Seri Negara) will receive a limited edition Postcards and stamp. Hmmm curious? Start shopping.
Pos Malaysia will return with a corner reminiscence of a throwback to the 1960s.
In conjunction with the reopening, Philatelic Society of Malaysia (PSM) will also host a PSM Stamp Market on 23 – 24 May 2026 from 10:00 am to 08:00 pm at the Kongsi Kreatif section on Level 2.
