Well, finally a massive update to the 2026 Malaysia Stamp Issue Programme. So let’s do a quick review.

Then it is the much awaited Silver Jubilee of the Reign of DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj stamp issue. There will also be a set of coins and a commemorative book. The actual date is on 25 October 2026. The stamp launch (and I presume the coins and commemorative book) will be on 19 October 2026 but the stamps will be sold on 20 October 2026. Most concordant cancellation is in the Royal City of Klang!
Next up is the annual Stamp Week 2026 starting on 06 November 2026.
The 75th Anniversary of Malaysia Association of the Blind will be on 23 November 2026 and this is the best time to make a special cover with all the charity / donation envelopes to make a special cover. The concordant location is in Brickfields.
Rounding the end of the year is the 150 Years of the Forestry Department with an open date in December. However, it does not make much sense and the Forestry Department (Peninsular Malaysia) was established in 1901 making it 125 Years! Hmm.. let’s wait and see.
