Next Issue is not One But Three Special Cancellation Locations! Parrots of Malaysia

What to do in this long weekend? Well….. travel 3 places for 3 different cancellations or exchange with a kind hearted collector?

The next issue will be Parrots of Malaysia on a weekend! Special sales arrangements will be as follows:

1. KL Bird Park: (31 May 2026) 09:00 am – 05:00 pm, main entrance with a special “KL Bird Park” cancellation.

2. Penang Bird Park: (31 May 2026) 09:00 am – 05:00 pm, main entrance with a special  “Penang Bird Park” cancellation.

3. Pos Malaysia Booth (31 May 2026) PBAKL, Level 2, World Trade Centre (WTC)  with the philatelic “Kuala Lumpur” cancellation.

4. Langkawi Wildlife Park: (03 June 2026) 09:00 am- 05:00 pm, main entrance with a special “Langkawi Wildlife Park” cancellation.

The best concordant location is of course in Bayan Lepas (Pejabat Pos Bandar Baru Bayan Baru Post Office) but sadly the date will not be 31 May 2026 anymore as it is a Sunday.

Each of these locations will also have an entry promotion with the purchase of Pos Malaysia Parrots stamp issue products.

The products are:

  1. RM 1.00 stamp
  2. RM 1.30 stamp
  3. RM 5.00 Miniature Sheet
  4. 50 sen Blank Envelope
  5. RM 7.00 Empty Folder

Each location will have a Pos Malaysia booth providing cancellations for the day. So planning to exchange? I will be happy to provide KL Bird Park.

The rest of Malaysia will be on sale after each state’s long public holiday is over.

I guess the thematic bird stamp collectors will be very happy too!
