However…. it is a pre-order… the actual sale will be in the Philatelic Bureau Branches and KL on 27 March 2025.
Latest update 24 February 2025: I expect a further release delay as the pos.com.my website has indicate: “Estimated to ship out by 28th April 2025.” So I think the physical sale will be around that time.
So if you want to pre-order:
In-Person (means go there lah): Visit Pos Malaysia’s booth at the Pokémon TCG Showdown 2025 at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, from 21 to 23 February, between 10am and 8pm – they will give you free postage!; OR
In-Person: Pos Malaysia’s 90 Philatelic Bureaus nationwide, including 13 General Post Offices; OR
Online: Via Pos Malaysia’s official online store at https://shop.pos.com.my. (I tested, still down)
I guess this will appeal to the die-hard Pokémon fans and it is based on the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) showcasing Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, and other fan favourites.
Priced at RM99 each, the special set includes ten stamps, four postcards, a Souvenir Cover envelope (already copped), a Pokémon TCG fun pack and a playmat in a commemorative folder.

Is there any advise on making it as first day cover?Saw your marvel and mickey fdcs, they re awesome and well alligned. Do they provide additional sourvenier cover or extra for purchase as 10 stamps would not fit one? Since the cover cover is already copped, do we get extra by visiting the post office in person? If preordered online, is there a risk of delay and causing us to miss the first day cover cancellation? New fdc collector here.
Hello Damian, Thank you for reading myfdc. Unfortunately for this issue Pos Malaysia does not provide additional official envelopes. There is also no special cop available. So any First Day of Sale Cover can only use the Registered or Circular Counter cancellation (cop). A bit sad to miss such a nice opportunity.
