It was a sudden information and thanks to the branch Philatelic Bureaus the news of the availability of the Year of the Snake Personalised Stamp Sheet was received. A hurried trip to the Kuala Lumpur Philatelic Bureau secured the items.
So here are the arrangements:
- The Year of the Snake is issued in a Set of 1 sheetlet, 1 MINT Postcard, 3 Red Packets (Ang Pows) all inside one large envelope. This is sold at RM 28.00
- There is also a set of 5 Postcards WITH 5 different Setem Kus ready stick on the postcard. The 5 designs can be bought at RM 3 each (different Setem Ku designs) or RM 15 a set of 5.
I think the designs are really good with auspicious words incorporated into the stamps including the snake motif. The size of the postcard is just right. Not too big and not too small.
There is NO special cancellation so if you are making it will be just the Philatelic Bureau postmarking.
