I guess everyone is excited about the next issue that will feature the Penang Hill Funicular’s 100 Years Celebration.

  1. 30 sen stamp: 1st Generation Funicular from 1923
  2. 60 sen stamp: 2nd Generation Funicular from 1977 (my time!)
  3.  RM 1.30 stamp: 3rd Generation Funicular from 2011
  4.  RM 5.00 Miniature Sheet: Similar 3rd Generation Funicular from 2011
  5.  RM 1 Postcard: Also of the 3rd Generation Funicular from 2011
  6.  RM 6.00 Empty Folder: Similar design to the Miniature Sheet
  7.  50 sen blank envelope: Mutiara and Pinang Funiculars

There will be a special cancellation booth at Penang Hill Base Station with a one day special cancellation of Bukit Bendera.

If you are not able to go to Penang Hill Station, you should top up your SODA account for this special cancellation. SODA will continue to be a setenant strip!

For those buying the special covers from Penang Philatelic Society, do buy in pairs as there is an MS and a composite cover might be too tight.
