Chung Ling High School Stamp Issue Launch

The set of stamps and Miniature Sheet was launched in Penang. The news was well covered by Kwong Wah Kit Poh (in Simplified Chinese text): http://www.kwongwah.com.my/?p=256547

The issue will comprise of the following:

85 sen stamp: Chung Ling High School Main Building

95 sen stamp: Chung Ling (Private) High School Main Building

RM 1.05 stamp: Chung Ling (Butterworth) High School Main Building

RM 5 Miniature Sheet: Original building design (embossed)

This issue is peculiar as the date of issue 09 February 2017 falls on a State Public Holiday in Penang. The issue will be available in other states that does not have a Thaipusam State holiday.

Thus the first day of sale will be 10 February 2017 in Penang (and in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor).

However the pictorial cancellation will still bear the 09 February 2017 date.
