Updated again: 4 types of 50 Years Anniversary Golden Jubilee of SOCSO (PERKESO) Album?

I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that there are at least 2 types 3 types 4 types of the SOCSO Album!

What is the difference? Almost unnoticed if you did not look carefully on the SOCSO Revenue Stamps page!

The reason is that the revenue stamps are randomly inserted into the album during production. As such, each batch might have a slight difference. In addition, there are watermark and paper differences for those collecting varieties which makes the album very unique!

Have a look:

Type 1: 10 sen, 30 sen, $1.10, $1.20, $1.90, $2.70, $3.10, $3.80, $4.40, $7.90

Type 2: 40 sen, 90 sen, $1.40, $1.50, $1.70, $1.90, $2.50, $3.50, $5.60, $10.10

To compare: Pause the video at 2:39 and 3:10. The video is Type 1 which is much more common.

What did you get?

Meanwhile……. the Bank Negara SOCSO balloting results are out. Go check out your confirmed order.

Updated on the same evening:

A reader, Encik Muhammad Haziq Rahmathullah Khan, kindly shared that there is a Type 3 which is a Type 2 but with a 20 sen stamp and without a $7.90.

Type 3: 10 sen, 20 sen, 30 sen, $1.10, $1.20, $1.90, $2.70, $3.10, $3.80, $4.40

Many thanks Encik Muhammad Haziq Rahmathullah Khan for sharing with the myfdc readers.

Anyone found other Types? It is beginning to be interesting.

Updated again:

My broadband was down and it was hard to update on my handphone. Here are 2 more shared by a collector J Image (thank you very much for sharing)!

I just call it Type 4: 10 sen, 20 sen, 80 sen, $1.10, $2.70, $3.10, $3.80, $4.40, $4.50, $7.90

Thus the set is almost complete and missing just 1 piece: 50 sen

60 sen has been spotted on an album of another type. The conclusion is that the 10 revenue stamps are random and thus it is dependent on when you bought it and which batch it came from.

Again from J Image, here is the watermark on 20 sen and 80 sen.
