“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life” = Picasso
The day starts at Dayabumi since the Philatelic Bureau HQ opens earlier. Once the necessary art is assembled, it was time for a late breakfast as today it will be another day without lunch.
Then it was a simple hop to LRT Kelana Jaya Line transfer at Ampang Park to the MRT Putrajaya Line for the MRT Hospital Kuala Lumpur Station.
Exit B and we begin today’s adventure to study art.
Pos Malaysia set up a booth at the Ground Floor lobby of the National Art Gallery. It was spacious and easy to stick and cop. Pos Malaysia had a busy day!
Ms Nadiah Mohd Fauzi and Mr Majmuddin bin Mohd Salleh, the Balai Seni Negara designers were at the Pos Malaysia’s booth. Well, all the collectors wasted no time in getting their autographs and posing for photos.
Then it was a slow study of our national treasures – visual arts.
Here they are:

RM 1.50 Single Stamp Header on FDC

A Composite FDC on a Composite Photo! Even Balai Seni Negara also do a composite!
“Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen.” — Leonardo da Vinci
Then it was an exchange of news and information between everyone present. These are the cherished moments of meeting fellow concordanist and collectors.
Then…. the nearest Post Office? Jalan Gurney and off via MRT Raja Uda! Until we meet again in Elmina Lakeside Mall on 18 April 2026!
“Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.” Andy Warhol
