Singapore Post published that they plan to release a joint issue cover on the Johor Causeway issued earlier this year on 28 June 2024:

The envelope is a new design with the stamps in a rectangular arrangement thus negating the setenant (oh a waste to tear the setenant!) and with both countries’ cancellation.
However the choice of “KUALA LUMPUR” cancellation is really a very poor. It would have been better if the cancellation on the Malaysian stamps was JOHOR BAHRU. Recall that the Malaysia Philatelic Bureau provided “JOHOR BAHRU” cancellation as the standard cancellation for all SODA First Day Covers.

Could there be a chance the cancellation be changed to “JOHOR BAHRU” since it has not been released yet? Hmm depends… very few are concordanists but then this does not need a lot of thought to figure out the better cancellation.
