Why all of a sudden the interest in this error? Well…Malaysia was misspelled as Malayia!
Singapore Post issued a 10 nations ASEAN Community Commemorative Pack. Singapore is currently one of 4 countries that issued such a pack (the others are Brunei, Thailand and Vietnam).
I was brought to attention regarding this error (thanks to JG)! Malaysia was spelt as Malayia. Sounds very close to Malaya! Here is the close-up of the error:
Since the error is common, it is unlikely to fetch a high price, however, it will be a novelty.
Will Singapore Post reissue the pack or print stickers?
Anyone else found anything interesting in the 10 nations series???
