17 November 2017: Media Preview of Tourist Destinations issue


Today was the Media Preview of the Tourist Destinations: Perak, Pahang and Terengganu.

This issue will comprise of 3 pairs of setenant stamps. Each setenant stamp will feature one state.

The quantities are:

3 x 60 sen setenant pairs: 280,000 pieces of each setenant stamp

50 sen envelopes: 32,000 pieces

RM 6.00 empty folders: 1,800 pieces

The above prices are excluding GST.

Here are the locations for each of the setenant pair:

1. Pahang: Fraser’s Hill, Sungai Lembing Mines, Abu Bakar Palace, National Elephant Conservation Center, Cameron Highland’s Mossy Forest and Tioman Island.

2. Perak: Ubaidah Mosque, Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan (Telok Anson), Perak Royal Museum, Taiping Zoo, Royal Belum National Park and Pangkor Island.

3. Terengganu: Terengganu State Museum, Maziah Palace, Kenyir Lake, Rantau Abang Beach and Redang Island.

Meanwhile the artwork for the 150 Years Straits Settlements was released. It will only be a single Miniature Sheet. The 150 Years Straits Settlements “Permanent Issue” will be on sale on 04 December 2017 and that coincides with the planned Stamp Week. Stay tuned for LEGO!
