Clothes Make Way for Digital Art!

Get ready for this year’s Malaysia Day issue! The long awaited Kebaya has been moved to October 2022 for the release of 14 Stamps in the #empatbelas series by APOM! (A Piece of Malaysia!) on 08 September 2022! In addition a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) stamp will be available for each purchase.

It is only a matter of time that Pos Malaysia jumps into the same digital stamp evolution.  Pos Malaysia first ventured into the virtual world via a QR Code on Stamp back in 23 August 2016: https://myfdc.me/2016/08/12/next-issue-seven-wonders-of-malaysias-florafauna/

Since then the philatelic world saw a number of countries releasing NFT and blockchain stamps. So the #empatbelas stamp will be the first foray into the NFT world…. except that it is probably a Personalised Stamp (SetemKu) as the stamp issue is not included in the official stamp programme.

There are 14 designers from 14 states working on each of the 14 stamps. The designers are:
