Updated 07 October 2013: 50 Years of Malaysia, a few more variations and patriotic postmarks

I am sure you are anxious on this issue. Now the latest news: It will be on sale on 17 September 2013!

So remember the date! This is because the “Endless Possibilities” issue has been shelved.

It is now confirmed that there is only 1 stamp in this issue.

Here is the image of the sheetlet:

Updated 19 September 2013:

It was an interesting day for this next next next day cover! The crowd was light and the regulars were at the queue in the morning. However, to my surprise, there was a limit of 5 blank covers per person. As such many could not make enough covers. Some went over to the “mini fair” counter as there was no limit but that too was sold out very quickly.

I went over to Putrajaya to make a double cancellation as Putrajaya is named after the Tunku and it is a fitting pair of the capital of Malaysia and the administrative capital of Malaysia on one cover. I have on bid one piece. Since there is not enough covers, I cannot make more 😦

When I reached Putrajaya, the counter staff told me the response was overwhelming for them. Everything was sold out! Many came just to get the cancellation. As the Putrajaya cancellation is water based, I did not want Pos Malaysia to add more ink as it will smudge.

There is even a flaw (error as some call it). It is a fly speck on Sarawak at the top right hand corner on some of the sheetlets. It is quite consistent. I have on offer for a title block.

I would like to thank a regular reader, Mr. Chung who has sent me another 2 variations.

Another consistent “dot” at the bottom left corner stamp. The dot is on the top right of the stamp itself, refer to the close up.

Here is the comparison of the “blue” shades (correct blue on the left).
