22 October 2013: UNICEF Celebrating Abilities of Children with Disabilities: Colours of My World

The image has finally been released. There will be 3 x 60 sen stamps for this issue.

Surprisingly the banner featured a Kelana Jaya cancellation. I asked about it and I could not get an answer. Anyone with information, I hope you can share with the wider audience.

In addition, this issue is probably the longest official title for a stamp issue in our history. Anyone remember any stamp issues with a longer title?

Strangely I could not find the UNICEF logo or reference on the stamp itself.

UNICEF Malaysia featured the artists behind the stamps in the contest webpage: http://children4change.unicef.my/colours_of_my_world_stamps.html

Here is an update:

There will be a special postmark “”Celebrating the abilities of children with disabilities” on the normal mails sent through the postal system. So what are you waiting for, drop some mails. By the way there is a planned exhibition on Level 6 in Pavilion Mall. Check out the information at (scroll to the bottom): http://www.unicef.org/malaysia/media_news13_three_talented_child_artist_receive_stamp_of_approval.html#.UmS2XBOwrwc

      1. I do not think so. I could not get an answer as the Bureau did not notice this.

Ha ha ha! Good point, maybe someone sent the wrong cancel.
