Today saw a much larger crowd (but nowhere as near the Year of the Dragon). Some early comers came before 6:00 am! It was quite sad as towards the latter part when the counters open, there were queue jumpers. I could hear some load exchange of words of people chasing out the queue jumpers. I guess you need to be thick skin to be a dealer especially when the person is late and the queue is long!
Just before 9:00 am, Pos Malaysia put up notices to restrict the sale of the miniature sheets (RM 3 and RM 5) to only 5 pieces per person!! There was even a senior citizen queue. However from past experience, this counter is the slowest (cash, one staff and lots of “senior” citizen!!!).
Here is how it looked like in the queue slightly at about 10:00 am! There were 3 stamp dealers as well!
Then I was off to Aeon Taman Equine (Equine Park) Post Office. Here is the post office. Strangely the cancellation is still Jusco Taman Equine (the old name of Aeon).
