Today, Pos Malaysia released the news that International Air Mail is back to 56 selected countries and territories. Unfortunately New Zealand, Canada, USA, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Bangladesh are not in the list. Recall that the International Mail was suspended from 03 August 2020! This was largely due to unable flights in the pandemic situation.
The international outbound services for mail and parcel (International Air Mail, International Small Packet, Flexipack International and International Air Parcel) will resume effective 22 September 2021 to 56 selected destinations.
Here are the destinations:
Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Maldives, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.
In short, SEA, North and East Asia, China, India, Australia and much of Europe are back!
There will be a SURCHARGE depending on the location. You will need to head over to the post office to find out more.
Great news! Now those with held up international shipments by Malaysian sellers will start to receive their orders.
