Today was the launch of the Golden Jubilee of the Five Power Defence Arrangements (between United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore) stamps and coins.
Here are some details from the memorabilia launch by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin bin Tun Hussein:
1. Coins will be available. These are believed to be images of the coins.
2. Malaysia and Singapore stamps to commemorate the event. Malaysia is passing on the FDPA to Singapore as the host next year. The FDPA exercises are conducted alternately between Malaysia and Singapore.
(a) Malaysia Setemku (5,000 pieces):
(b) Singapore will issue a set of stamps on 01 November 2021 (acknowledgement to my counterpart in Singapore for the information):
The big question, how can I buy them? Well, same answer, check their websites until the announcement comes out. For coins it is easier as Bank Negara Malaysia will announce when it will be on sale.
Meanwhile… let’s watch the Fly-Past Telecast on RTM 1. I can already hear the jets outside my room as I type.
