I could not fund a more apt name for the party concerned. Hold on, what is going on?
Apparently there was a 50 Years Malaysia Stamp Exhibition held in Kota Kinabalu from 27 – 30 November 2013. Yup, I did give you a heads up (read the ARCH posting), however I was also not aware of the date of exhibition due to the lack of information.
What is despicable is that certain part(ies) decided to mutilate the rubber stamp so that others cannot make nice covers!
Here are the photos sent by a reader who is a keen collector in Sabah (I want to thank him for allowing me to share the photos – all rights to reproduce belongs to him, so please obtain consent from him before you republish – I can pass you his contact).
Here are the mutilated rubber stamps (notice some of the words are cut off)!
This is how the cancels look with the mutilated rubber stamps. Notice the missing words?
I strongly condemn the act. This is the first time that this has happened!
Perhaps Pos Malaysia can re-issue the rubber stamps.
