Updated 11 January 2019: Media Preview

Today was the media preview for this issue. I can only summarise: The special die cut with glitter Miniature Sheet is great!

Interestingly I found out that the Zodiac also applies to how the time is divided in a day! Google it. You might find something interesting! Not just the year but the time.

The brochure is also interesting with the various dates of the festivals listed making it a handy reference for our friends overseas!

So here are the products with quantities:

  1. Stamps: 200,000 pieces of each design
  2. Miniature Sheet: 25,000 pieces
  3. Blank Envelopes: 30,000 pieces
  4. Empty folders: 1,800 pieces

The above can also be bought as a folder set via Eziemall. The product is usually loaded near midnight the day before, so be cool and wait for the midnight!

The designer, Mr KY Lim (Reign Associates) will be coming over to autograph the products on the day of sale in the Philatelic Bureau HQ in the General Post Office of Kuala Lumpur.

In addition, there will also be a Special Setem Ku Greetings sheetlet to be released on the same day. Image is being finalised. I will share once Pos Malaysia releases the image.

Do look out for a special Chinese New Year franking at the main General Post Office in Kuala Lumpur. It was used last year…. perhaps again this year?

Sadly, I will not be able to join in the fun as I have a prior engagement. Do drop me a note on the response in your own location as well as the Kuala Lumpur General Post Office.
