All the last batch of the lucky draw mails has been mailed out. I dropped the mail into the one with the higher chance of the Machine 01 double ring cancellation.
Based on the probability (the mails dropped on Thursdays and Fridays), these mails will stand a good chance of getting the 15 April 2020 cancellation. That would put it as the first day of the extended Phase 2 Movement Control Order announced this afternoon. Perhaps Pos Malaysia can make a new slogan for this extended phase?
In the late afternoon, after 3 days without any mail, I received my mails sent between 01 – 04 April 2020. They were all postmarked on 08 April 2020. However one of the mail went to Machine 08 single ring without a slogan.
Thus it is quite a bit of luck if you get the slogan. It depends on which machine is the mail being processed.
Did anyone receive cancellations between 01 April 2020 – 08 April 2020? Do drop me a note with your image.
Updated: Friends showed me the following dates were printed with the COVID-19 logo safety slogan: 03 April 2020 and 06 April 2020. I conclude that my area’s mail was held up until 08 April for processing. Thanks for sharing! Anyone else with a finding?
