09 July 2020: Picking Wild Flowers

The regulars were early at the Kuala Lumpur General Post Office, Philatelic Bureau Headquaters. There was not much crowd even though the design is very appealing especially the die cut miniature sheet with spot UV print on the stamp.

The same Standard Operating Procedures on buying the products are still in place with higher compliance. I think this SOP should stay as it enables an orderly purchase of items.

Ready made FDCs were also available.

Mr KY Lim from Reign Associates came about 10:30 am to start the autograph session. Many collectors took the chance to also autograph the Iconic Marine Life issue and apply the read seal that Mr Lim brought this time.

Another bonus was that the stamps and MS can be combined to make a composite FDC! This is how I arranged it:

Here are the details on the quantities issued:

  1. Stamps: 250,000 pieces of each design
  2. MS: 20,000 pieces
  3. Blank FDC: 27,000 pieces
  4. Empty folders: 1,500 pieces

How was the situation in your place?
