Well, finally the long anticipated Malaysia Day stamp issue materialised!
As the Conditional Movement Control Order was still in effect, there were very strict Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) in place. The waiting area was restricted to only 4 pax.
Here is the notice:
There were only 6 regulars when the Philatelic Bureau opened. Coincidentally there were only 4 who are in the Normal Counter area and only 2 in the Caring (Penyayang) Counter. Here is the layout before the opening bell!
The desks for sticking the stamps were set up outside with wide distancing.
There were more customers coming from 09:00 am but not as much as normal days. Missing were the posters. The posters arrived at about 11:00 am.
Since there was no autograph session, many finished the covers early.
