As the saying goes “Ada Setem di sebalik Bonsai” and so the day started with the queue (yes a queue, it is popular!) to buy the 10th World Bonsai Convention products at the Pos Malaysia booth.
Lots of collectors and FDC makers were busy at the adjacent table. Lots of familiar faces:
How to come here? Mr Teh was kind enough to show me the way as we headed out to Endah Parade (Sri Petaling Pictorial cancellation). Why??? This is the nearest actual post office Philatelic Bureau branch in the vicinity. Yes since it is a mall Post Office it is open.
There was a cameo appearance of the designer, Ms Siow Wan Xuan.
So to come to Pavilion Bukit Jalil by Public Transport, take the LRT to Awan Besar Station.
Then look for the Awan Besar Bus Stop and the FREE Shuttle Bus – you cannot miss it! It says Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
It is a nice double decker and of course the top view is better! The ride is about 15 minutes and you are right at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Again thanks to Mr Teh, here is the bus schedule.
And finally, the actual nearest Post Office.
Pos Malaysia booth is still there tomorrow (30 August 2026)! They close at about 04:00 pm. Open… err 10:00 am….
