To Mount Kinabalu and Back

Back in 14 February 2015, Pos Malaysia put up the highest Post Box in Mount Kinabalu (Gunung Kinabalu) at Pendant Hut at 3,289 meters above sea level. There was a launch with a special postcard and a pictorial launch cancellation. The post box went into the Malaysia Book of Records.

Subsequently it was back to actual operations. While I have not been able to secure the 14 February 2015 (Saturday) cancellation on cover, however this is the actual first day of operations cover postally sent back on 16 February 2015 (Monday). The address has been erased. It has the Mount Kinabalu cachet and the processing post office which is in Ranau.
