The turnout was quite decent this morning in the KL GPO. Little would we guess that the crowd will grow larger and was quite consistent through the day. It seems that many are buying for their friends from mainly Johor! Many smaller post offices either did not receive any stock or just plain sold out!
In addition, the LIME 2015 Pre-Stamped Envelopes were also on sale. It received lukewarm reception.
By about 10:00 am, Prof. Dato’ Raja Zahabuddin Raja Yaacob made a cameo appearance to get a set! He was very obliging to sign covers for the lucky collectors. In fact he stayed on until after 12:00 noon sigining steadily and posing with the collectors. Here he is in action:
I managed to make a set of FDC cancelled in Medan Tuanku.
