This September is probably the best month ever in our calendar of holidays! With extended weekends for the first 3 weeks of the month, it is a good time to catch up with our family and hobby.
So far there has not been any stamp issues and the next one will be on 17 September 2019 (for the Malaysia Day stamp issue). We continue to hope, pray, wish, ask and beg for information… well, hopefully Pos Malaysia can be kinder to give an earlier information.

Meanwhile, why not head on to the Philatelic Society Malaysia (PSM) Stamp Fair in the Petaling Jaya Community Library hall this weekend. It happens from 07 – 08 September 2019. The published time is from 09:30 am to 05:30 pm. Usually the dealers are in just after 09:30 am.
There are always lots of bargains, just keep a look out. This is the best time to fill the gap in your album. You can also ask the PSM experts for advice on your collection.

I always look out for the Pos Malaysia booth which is always an attraction as there are occasionally good old items brought out for sale!
Dealers: Hope you make an effort to bring new stocks and not recycle every other fair’s item. Stale stocks will drive customers away and by then the stamp fair will no longer be attractive for the collectors to make an effort to come. It takes both side. We to come and you to prepare.
