COVID-19 Random Posting to Local Addresses Giveaway

myfdc recently passed 825,000 viewes. It has come a long way. I guess without new stamp issues it is rather boring just to dig out old collection.

I found interest in documenting the Movement Control Order period and someday, this difficult time will be remembered when I look back at the mails sent. I have concluded that the numerous information received from readers that so far the COVID-19 safety slogan is available only in the Klang Valley and only by luck if the mail is processed through Machine 01 double ring. If it goes to Machine 08, well…. no COVID-19 safety slogan.

I have tested in various posting and one post box has a higher chance of getting the safety slogan.

Here is what I will do. I have prepared 25 envelopes with stamps pasted. Yes, this is a commitment.

I will post to 25 persons in a draw on Thursday (09 April 2020) morning. If your number is drawn, please message me your address by Friday (10 April 2020) morning before 09:00 am. I will send the mail out to a local address.

This way everyone who participate will have a chance to get a COVID-19 safety slogan mail IF you are lucky that it gets processed through Machine 01!

Summary of what you need to do:

This is open for anyone with a Malaysian address. I will not be sending to those I have sent this week. Give others a chance.
Put a number in sequence in the Comment below in this post.
First person, put 1, followed by the second person 2, and third person 3… and so on. Wait a bit as the system refreshes slowly when too many are commenting.
One person can put one number. Please do not put your address in your comment. Just a number.
Multiple entry by the same person / family will be disqualified.
In case there is a person who cannot count and put the same numbers (perhaps both were typing at the same time…. unlikely on a blog), the first person who put the number will be valid.
If a number is skipped by a mathematically challenged person, just continue with the next number our mathematics champion have put.
Continue the number sequence.
DO NOT REPLY to another person’s number.
On Thursday (09 April 2020) morning, when I am free, I will run a random number generator and pick 25 lucky numbers.
I will post the 25 numbers on Thursday (09 April 2020) and publish on myfdc.
If you are one of them, then send me an email. If you are a regular reader, you will know my email by now.
If you do not respond by Friday (10 April 2020) morning, I will not post out.
I will post by normal mail to the address you have provided in the post box that I have been sending mails.
I cannot guarantee the letter will reach you.
I cannot guarantee the letter will be processes in Machine 01 (double ring).
I do not know what will be the date of processing – so no need to chase me as I will not be able to track.
My decision is final.
