National Mail Centre COVID-19 logo slogan prepared covers and postcards for SODA

Recall that the National Mail Centre along with the Philatelic Bureau provided order forms to Standing Order Deposit Account (SODA) holders a chance to purchase the special COVID-19 logo slogan cancellations. I finally received my copies (other have received their copies much earlier – last week, I believe).

The covers came with random old first day cover envelopes sealed at the back. This is to prevent the flap from jamming the machines. The postmarks are:

31 March 2020: End of Movement Control Order Phase 1

14 April 2020: End of Movement Control Order Phase 2

28 April 2020: End of Movement Control Order Phase 3

12 May 2020: End of Conditional Movement Control Order (initial phase)

Since the products come in a set of 5, one of the cover or postcard will be duplicated. They were all processed from Machine 01 double ring.

I want to recognise whoever planned the cancellations as well thought through. These dates are meaningful as they represent the end of the different period in the Movement Control Orders.

Here are the covers, with matching stamps! There are no brochures inside the sealed envelopes.

Here are the postcards. The postcards are sticky on the back top left corner and some edges as it was stuck to another item in order to be able to go through the machine. They look a bit smudgy and it is usual on smooth surfaces. I think these SODA order postcards are the ONLY postcards with COVID-19 logo slogan cancellations. I have not seen actual posted versions.
