Interestingly the Malaysian issue has the word Kuala Lumpur (location of the Philatelic Bureau) on the cancellation whereas in Hong Kong, the cancellation does not have the “location”.

The crowd was light today. The Miniature Sheet was too big but I can fit is horizontally. I was off to Kajang to get the cancellation. Kajan is the “Satay Town” of Malaysia.
Traffice was light heading to Kajang, however it was madness on the way back to KL.

Nasi Lemak is too generic and is spread out across Malaysia. I have not found “THE” place for nasi lemak.

Malaysia First Day Chop on HK fdc – No Kuala Lumpur Words ?
Apparently from photos I have seen, there is no Kuala Lumpur on the HK joint FDC!

Is it just here the stamps haven’t arrive? Many people were waiting at the post office and came early. I really want this issue. Does that means it will be sell on Monday?

The giant miniature sheet was sold out early in Seri Kembangan and UPM post offices. Funny thing about the Seri Kembangan post office is that they asked me to get the cancellation done in Kajang. Also found out that they don’t deliver much sets for small post offices, only 5 sets in UPM post office.
