Finally, I received the confirmation from Pos Malaysia that the Fournation Stamp Exhibition will be held in Kuala Lumpur in the Kuala Lumpur General Post Office.
The event will be held in the Main Lobby (Stamp Dealers), Stamp Gallery of the Philatelic Bureau Headquarters (Pos Malaysia sales) and Dewan Sri Pos (Stamp Exhibition).
The event will be held from 29 – 31 March 2019 from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
There will be a special Overprint Miniature Sheet (details will be released later) on 29 March 2019. Heard some loud buzz today from many parties that 30 March might see something too. Hmmm… the suspense if building.
PSM is also making the envelopes for the event.
For those who are keen to take part, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Homework: Prepare your Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia stamps! There has been a buzz that a fifth country was invited! Hmmm…
Anyway, I have not received any news of those who confirmed attendance. Perhaps if any of our foreign readers from Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia who might know something can provide the information?
See you there!

Brunei DS will be joining the exhibition and many schools are invited to visit the exhibition.
Thanks for the news that Brunei will join!
Brunei? Earlier I heard it was Saudi Arabia !!
Huh? Seems information is sketchy with only…. 3 more days to go!
There has been a lot of questions as to the event. Hopefully by mid-week, we can get some validated information.
Dont forget that the 4Nation is a Philatelic Association event, NOT a post event. POS Malaysia is the only one that does justice to this event and try to make it a grand affair. From our experience in the past, none of the other 3 postals show the same enthusiasm and may not even turn up. The whole objective of the 4Nation is to enable newer exhibitors to gain experience and points to gain access to higher level Exhibitions.
Yes, I just received info that the 5th country is Brunei. But they are coming as exhibitors (by invitation) and not as Postal. So the mystery remains whether any or all of the other Postals will even be present. My contact in Indonesia says he knows nothing of this Exhibition !!
Oh dear! This is quite a revelation!
Thanks for sharing!
I hope PSM can release more information as to the confirmed attendees and the postmarking in order for us to plan our weekend.
I just received confirmation that NONE of the other postals will be coming. Only POS Malaysia will be there. Plus some dealers. For cancels, its anybody’s guess if any of the 3 associations will bring any.
And my contact in Singapore just confirmed that there will be no special covers, stamps or cancels from them. So keep your Singapore stamps as there is nothing to cancel them with. It appears that there is no attempt to make this event appealing to anyone but those who are exhibiting. What a waste of opportunity and even selfish from my point of view. Kudos to POS for being so supportive, they even went to Bali the last event when nobody else bothered other than the host nation.
Very sad indeed.
