Pos Malaysia announced on 17 March 2020 via a COVID-19 Service Alert that safety tips will be stamped on all letters.
Mails were sent out daily from a nearby post box. Finally, the mail processed from the National Mail Centre (Pusat Mel Nasional) Machine 01 (double ring) dated 24 March 2020 was found with the COVID-19 safety slogan:
You Stay at Home, We Deliver
Do your part to stop the spread of COVID-19
#StayAtHome
Some notes:
- 20 March 2020 was only found with Machine 10 single ring cancellation.
- 21 and 22 March 2020 are weekends (Saturday and Sunday). No mail processing were found.
- All my Mel Rakyat were processed through Machine 08 single ring cancellations. Thus far no slogan on Machine 08.
- There were no mails received with 18 March 2020. Did anyone have a posted letter from the National Mail Centre dated 18 March 2020?
- Did any other state’s national mail centres started to use the slogan?
- Could the 24 March 2020 slogan be the first day of usage?
Here is a tip. Send lots of mails for 14 April 2020 if that is the last day of Movement Control!
