This is really a last minute information (unlike the Perak Exhibition with ample notification). The exhibition is planned to be held on 21 May to 08 June 2014 in the Muzium Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam (Bastion House). It is after the Muzium Setem and before Porta de Santiago (what we mistakenly call A’Famosa).
I know you are mostly interested in the exhibition covers, well…. the cancellation will be available on 21 – 22 May 2014 with other dates to be announced. Opening times 10:oo am to 05:00 pm. The launching is at 10:00 am on 21 May 2014.

The launch went on surprisingly on time (maybe because there were no political dignitaries to keep the guests waiting). However the special cancellations were no where in sight. It was the same on 22 May 2014 where one of our contacts still could not location the special cancellations. It was apparently sent from the Philatelic Bureau HQ to Melaka GPO. Melaka GPO will then send to the museum.
There are also plans to make more special cancellations nearer the end of the exhibition. On another note, the exhibition actually started on 09 May 2014! Just like u-Pustaka, the exhibition was officiated after it started. Seems like a trend.
On the FAQ on if this is related to the Melaka – Jogja issue: This has nothing to do with the Melaka – Jogja issue! It is just so happen that both have “Melaka”.

Here are the covers that I have made. The covers are cancelled with the 2 days PERZIM cancellation and the museum’s name cancel.
This cover has the additional Jalan Laksamana cancellation.
This is the PSM cover with just the location cancellations.
I have a signed cover made on the launch day. There were only 3 signed on that day.
