I guess most of us are back to our routines for a week by now. A lot can happen while you take a break and here is the “lot”:
(a) If you are keen to match your 2017 stamp issues with currencies and coins, Bank Negara Malaysia has opened an online ordering facility at: https://duit.bnm.gov.my/
The Installation of His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong XV Sultan Muhammad V Commemorative Coins will go well with this stamp issue:
(b) Philatelic Society of Malaysia (PSM) will be holding the first Stamp Fair for 2018 on 13 – 14 January 2018 at the PJ Library from 09:30 am to 05:30 pm. The stalls usually close by 04:00 pm, so do not come too late. Pos Malaysia usually brings many old stuff and they are always a hit for those looking for old gems at face value (plus GST of course).
(c) On 18 January 2018, the first issue of the year will feature Animal with Various Special Roles (Working Dogs) in conjunction with the Year of the Dog lunar issue. I will cover more on this issue later on.
(d) myfdc will hit half a million views by the middle of this year. I plan to run a simple quiz again and you are all welcome to take part. There will be prizes as usual for your participation.

Hi! Why can you get that stamp of issue in advance?
1. If you are referring to the news of the stamp issue, I try and update on this site.
2. If you mean buying the stamps, they can be ordered in advance via the SODA account (use SEARCH box in myfdc and I have the article).
